Hungry Lion Online Learning

As a quick-service restaurant, Hungry Lion operates in a fast-paced
environment where employees need to be trained and equipped to perform their roles consistently and effectively. Whether it be food preparation and workplace procedures or customer service, employees need to have access to practical training that supports the day-to-day running of the business.

Mission

The challenge

With a large number of employees completing training across a range of workplace skills, the company needed a way to make training accessible to employees while giving management greater visibility over participation and completion. Training covers important areas that directly impact employees' daily responsibilities, including how to prepare food correctly, workplace procedures and how to interact with customers. Being able to track this training is vital to ensuring that employees are completing courses relevant to their roles, and for the company to have a clear record of training activity.

The Cnnect Solution

Cnnect brings employee training, HR information, communication and reporting together through a single mobile-first interface. Employees can access their assigned courses and learning resources alongside important workplace information such as company notices, policies, certificates
and payslips. This gives employees a centralised place to access the information and training they need. For management, Cnnect creates visibility across employee learning and compliance activity. Administrators can manage users, assign and publish courses, monitor completions, track results and access reporting that provides insight into how employees are engaging with training.

Hungry Lion's Thoughts On The Project

"For us, this was never just about training completions. We deliberately redesigned our approach to be capability-driven, focused on the real skills our people need and the actual performance impact on the floor, not just a tick-box exercise.

It's about giving every team member the confidence and skills to grow, and seeing that reflected in how they show up for our customers every day."
